Upholstery Layout Measurement and Research Laboratory

• It fulfils the research-implementation function creating new technological solutions and implements elaborated solutions to production, undertakes modernisation work of existing technological studies, tests prototypes of products;
• It carries out estimation and selection of raw materials and materials prior to admitting them to production;
• It performs confirmation of conformity of products during production, and final products.

The laboratory is equipped with stations for the following examinations:

• Flammability - based on PN-K-02511; PN-K-2501; PN-K-02502; PN-EN 1021-1; PN-EN 1021-2; FAR 23 and 25; UIC 654-2; BS 5852; PN-EN ISO 4589-2;
• Vandal-resistant - based on NF F 00-201
• Durability - based on PN-P-04979; PN-E ISO 1856; PN-EN ISO 3385; normative document CNTK no. 64/98, 65/98, 66/98; PN-ISO 2439; PN EN 29073-3
• Ergonomics - based on UIC 567; normative document CNTK no 64/98, 65/98, 66/98
